Trick-or-Treat

Happy Halloween to everyone. This year has been a lot of fun with the kids. Every Thursday we attend story hour at the library. This Thursday the kids all dressed in their costumes and we trick-or-treated a couple of the high school classes. After the library we went down to Poky and trick-or-treated my moms work like we do every year. Tonight we will be taking the kids to snake rivers carnival. I hope they have fun because we have never taken them to one. This year Paxton is a cowboy because I already had everything and Tessa in her words is a bumbabee, translated bumblebee. I think they are really cute. Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween.

Tessa's B-day

I know that I am late wishing my little girl a happy birthday, but I thought I would share with all of you the fun that she had. We spent the 17th with my mom her at the house because Chad was away hunting and Kate (Grammy) brought over her birthday gift. Chad got home late that night so we celebrated with him after church. She was able to open all of her gifts from daddy and I on sunday and we also had her cake that day. It has been such a crazy month that we were unable to have a family birthday for her. Paxton and Tessa are always excided to see their daddy when he gets home from work. To them is seems like forever. When they hear Chad open the door they both go running to him yelling DADDY. Yesterday they both were hugging Chad when he came home so Chad just picked both of them up at the same time. I asked Chad who he was going to do that when he has a third child. He told me he just will.

Chuckars Game

Last night we went and watched the Idaho Falls Chuckars baseball game. We were able to sit where there was no very many people . Most of the people that were around us were sitting down in the grass. Tim had said that it would be really good seats and that maybe we would get a foul ball. He said that they are really good about giving the foul balls to little kids. Well not long into the game a foul ball was hit our way and Tim told the guy that picked it up that we had a little guy so they tossed it to him for Paxton. We all had a really great time and maybe we will return for another game soon.Paxton and his foul ball.We will be taking off for camping tomorrow and coming back on Friday evening so I will post more from our trip when we get back.

Garden Update

Our garden has been doing really well. We have about 6 tomato plants out of the 8 that have started producing tomatoes, squash that is producing its flowers, broccoli and cauliflower that are both doing really well, and peas and green beans that have plenty on them ready to pick. Last night while Chad went to irrigate I went out and picked green beans. This is the 1st picking and to my amazement there was a lot more than I had expected.

I was working on the laundry yesterday and when I took the clothes out of the washer to put them in the drier Tessa decided that she needed to help. Instead of putting new clothes in the washer she got in instead. What a wonderful memory.

4 Wheeling with Daddy

The other night Chad fired up the 4wheeler to take Paxton for a ride after seeing how many fence post we would need to build a fence to let the animals graze the pasture. Paxton has a lot of fun riding the 4wheeler with Chad and of course you can't take one kid with out giving the other one a ride also. Paxton and Tessa both got to ride with daddy alone and the Chad took both of them for a little ride. Don't worry mom Chad was careful and went slow with them. Hope all is well with everyone.

I hope that you all had a great 4th of July. Me and the family went camping over the weekend and we had a blast. I will put photos of our trip up once I get them off of Chads camera. My pregnancy is going really well now. I am starting to feel a lot better and not as tired. I will be going to the doctor on the 17th for my 20 week appt. We will have an ultrasound that morning so we will know very soon what we will be having. I will update with ultrasound pictures at that time. I am really excited to be able to know what we are having so we can start deciding on a name and so Paxton can now if he get what he wants-- a baby brother. Hope all is well with everyone. Blackfoot Pride Days

Last weekend was the start of Blackfoot Pride Days. It is a time filled with fun events for families and tons of stuff for the kids to do. I had my mom come up on Friday night after work, since Chad had to teach a make-up class. We went to Rupe's Night to have dinner and let the kids play. During this evening at Rupe's they set up air filled toys and a rock climbing wall for the kids to play on. This is all free to the kids. Paxton started out in the little kid jumping pit and did great. When he got done he asked if he could do the big slide. I was a little leary to let him because it was so big and I didn't want him to chicken out half way up so we went to the next big thing which was the obsitcal course. He did really well and was so excited and really wanted to try the big slide so I said okay and told him that he had to go all the way up and come down. He told me okay and got in line. I did not have my camera at the time because I forgot that it was in my car, but the look on his face when he came down the first time was nothing but terror. To my amazement he wanted to go again. He went down at least 20 times. I sure wish Chad could have been there to see him. He would have been so proud. Paxton was also brave enough to try the rock wall.

Saturday was another fun filled day for Blackfoot Pride Days. They have more things for the kids to do and also a lot of venders set up at Jensen's Grove( which is the lake at Blackfoot). The funnest thing that Chad and I like to go for is the Snow Machince Races on the Lake. Yes they really do drive their snow machines on the water. It is really fun to watch. They have a lot of them that sink because they let up on their gas. This year we were only able to go for about an hour and a half due to getting rain out. The snow machiners kept racing because they get wet anyways but we left because we were getting drenched. It is a really great time for families and tons of fun if you ever get a chance to go you should.

Popcicles and Fun

Yesterday was a really nice day so I decicded that after Tessa's nap I would let the kids have a popcicle for snack. I am such a nice mom and they don't even know it yet. Tessa tried a popcicle last year and really did not care for it and Paxton would only eat about half of one. I was curious to see how they would do this year. I was shocked to see that both Tessa and Paxton ate all of their popcicle and Dixie our dog even tried helping Tessa with hers although I did not get a picture of it. We had a really fun time playing out side even though I could only stay out for a about an hour and a half due to the heat and being pregnant. Hope you all have a great Memorial Weekend.

Miss Accident Prone

Well Tessa is at it again. It seem that the nickname boo-boo that I have given her is really hold true to its name. Yesterday evening Tessa was trying to climb our bar stools, which she has done so many times before, as she was pulling herself up she tipped the stool over on top of her self and landed on the tile floor with the stool on top of her. She was crying and I thought that she was just stuck until I picked the stool up off of her and noticed that she was bleeding. I called Chad and scared him half to death by telling him that she split her head and need to get home right now. Well it looked a lot worse than what it really was. We took her into the urgent care and she got three stiches above her right eye and also has a black eye from the stool. I did not take my camera with me because in a time of panic you don't think of it, so here are a couple of pictures of Tessa after we got home. I will post new picks of her when we go to get the stiches removed on Tuesday. Tessa is doing great right now, running around and being her normal self. Love to all.

Stuck in the mud

Ever feel like you are stuck in the mud and not going anywhere. Well that is how Tessa felt here. We flood irrigated around the house for the first time since we moved here and so this morning there were lots of mud puddles. This is what can happen when you take your eyes off of a 1 1/2 year old. They get stuck in the mud. Ha Ha

And this is what happens when you just lift here out. Here shoes stay right there stuck in the mud. This led to a whole new change of cloths. Hope all of you are doing well.

Starting the Garden

Wow, two posts in one day.
Chad and I started the garden on Saturday after baby animal days. We got all of the green beans planted and some of the peas. We also got a few tomato plants, cucumbers, squash and corn planted. We still have a lot more to do, and we will probably do the rest this Saturday if the weather is nice. Here are a few pictures of the all the kids helping us. Okay, so I know it has been a really long time since I last updated. A lot has happened since the last one. Most of you know that Chad and I are expecting our third child at the beginning of December. Life has been pretty rough with this pregnancy. I have been dealing with morning sickness all day long and I am finally starting to feel better for most of the day.
Last Saturday it was Baby Animal Days in at the Eastern Idaho State Fair Grounds. My mom was watching Kris' kids so we decided to let the go see all of the animals. The kids had a blast. There were all kinds of animals. The kids also got there faces painted. Tessa decided she did not want to get hers done.Here is a goat that just loved attention.Here the kids are learning how to milk a cow. Don't worry it is not a real cow. Here is pictures of the kid's face paintings. The boys all got snakes and Brooklyn got a flower done by grandma. I am so glad that we went. It was a great experiance for the kids.

On Tuesday night I was brushing Sadie after her bath so she did not get tangles and the kids were sitting by me when Tessa started to cry. I could not figure out what she was crying about and then I looked at the side of her hand and this is what I saw. Some how she had touched the fireplace. This picture is from yesterday. She does not like any one to touch it. I can totally understand. We have started putting burn cream on it and keeping it wrapped so it won't get infected. Hello everyone this past Saturday we went and rode the pony's. Here Paxton and I are riding Tuffy Paxton really enjoyed riding a horse. It is going to be fun raising the kids on a farm. Not far from our house is this arena that you see us riding in. Makes it a lot nicer to ride in the winter. We are going to have to go there more often till it warms up around here.

Icicles

I just took these pictures of some icicles hanging off one of the porch lights in the back of the house. They have been growing in length for a few days know. The weather here has been in the mid 30's and sunny so we have been getting a lot of melting and then dropping to single digits in the evening so everything melts. Hope you all enjoy.

Well I know that it has been a little while since I have updated, sorry. I have been busy during Tessa's nap times during the day with studying for a medical transcriptionist. So far it is going pretty well. I am only on the third course so we will see.
I wanted to share some pictures of Tessa eating a piece of chocolate cake that I had made the other night for dessert. It was pretty cute watching her. I have not been able to decide who won but to me it looks like it was a tie between Tessa and the chocolate cake. Take a look at theses pictures and let me know what you think. Getting Settled

Well it has been a while since my last post and I thought it was about time that I updated everyone on the move. Moving went great. Thanks for all the help everyone. We had about 5 vehicles that we were able to fill so we got most everything moved in one trip which was great since it had snowed that night before and all the road were slick. I am still working on getting things unpacked but any one who has ever moved knows that it take a while to get to everything. There is still a little work that needs done but it will have to wait for warmer weather.

Paxton is loving his new room and really enjoys being able to go in and close his door to be able to play with his train tracks without Tessa bugging him. The bedspread was given to him for Christmas from Papa and Grammy. He really loves sleeping in his big bed.
Tessa is getting along great and loves all the room that we have. Her and Paxton go into the play room a lot together and play for a half and hour or more.

Chad and I are just glad to be able to get it done and be able to relax some what. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a happy New Year. I know that we did.

Moving Day!!!

Yeah, it is finally here. We have finally been told that we can move into the house. We are all really excited to be able to move and spend Christmas in the new house. Sorry I do not have any new pictures but once we get moved in a settled I will try and take some new pictures and get them posted.
Since we will be moving on Saturday I now get the job of packing everything and getting ready to move. We also have Chad's Christmas party at 9am on Saturday so we are not planning on moving until around 11am. I want to thank everyone who has helped us with the house, we appreciate it a lot. Counter Tops and Outside play

The counter tops are finally in. Chad was really amazed how great they look and all blend with everything else. With the counter tops in and finished that puts us one step closer to being done. Yesterday, Chad and a friend got both the bathrooms and front entry way grouted and they look great. Today we have a house full of workers. The excavater came back out and finished spreading the top soil around, the plumbers are there doing all of their finish work, the counter top people came and finished a couple of back splashes, and the electrition was there installing the last of the outlets in the kitchen. Here are a few pictures of the couter tops.While we were out at the house on Tuesday I was able to get some pictures of Paxton and Tessa playing together outside. I can tell that both of them are really going to love having all the room to be able to run and play as they wish, and I don't have to worry about either one of them running out to the road. Tessa really loves being like Paxton, all thought Paxton has a lot of learning to do on sharing his toys with her. Hope you all enjoy the new pictures.

The Blanket

Okay Aunt Deb, here is a few pictures of the blanket that you helped make Tessa. I feel that this is a very special blanket due to the fact the grandma (my mom), great grandma ( my grandma), and great Aunt Deb all helped to make this blanket. Tessa really loves it. She has slept with it every night since she got it. Thanks everyone for all the hard work you have put it on it.

New house pictures

Here are some new pictures of the house. The siding is all up and completed. We chose khaki for the siding and almond for all the trim. Here is a picture of the front of the house from the road and one of the back of the house.Chad has worked all week out at the house the past week and has done a really great job on all of the tile work. This is a picture of the tile in the kitchen. Chad has finished the kitchen and dining room, both entry ways, the laundry room and the kids bathroom all but the grouting. This week we will finish the master bathroom and all of the grouting and also counter tops will be installed on the 18th. We are auctioning off the house in town and that will be taking place on the 21st. Pray that all goes well. More to come later. Love to all.

Happy Halloween to everyone. It is so hard to believe that this will be Tessa's second halloween. Paxton and Tessa are both getting so big. This year Paxton wanted to be a turtle, and he is a really cute one. Tessa is a ladybug this year and so adorable. We will be going to grammys work and gradmas work and also to old town Pocatello and maybe the mall. It will be great fun. Here are some pictures of the cute kids.

Tessa just turned 1 on Oct 17th. We all had a great time. Grandma, Auntie Kris, Uncle Kevin and Auntie Jess, Grammy and Papa, and Rick, Sari, Harlee, and Trayton were all here to help us celebrate. Tessa's cake was fairies. Thanks everyone for coming and enjoying the time with us.
Yesterday Tessa had her one year appointment with the doctor. She is 22 lbs and is 29 1/2 inches long. She also had to get three shots, poor thing.
She is getting so big. She walks every where she can, jabbers all the time and just loves life.

House Update

I know it has been a while since I updated the pictures of the house. Sorry. It is coming along great. Yesterday the installers started to put the cabinets in and they look great. They will be finishing them today. The house is finally painted and I am still working on Paxton's room. My friend Amanda came up on Wednesday last week and helped me sponge the bottom part of his wall and then my mom came and helped me stamp the train all around his room. All I need to do know is fill in and outline the train and install a chair rail for the tracks. Sorry no picture of the train yet, but thanks Aunt Deb for the stamp. I don't know how you manage to find or make them. Here are pictures for all the paint colors.
Paxton's room is a pale gray sponged with polished silver and then the train is stamped in red. I will post an updated picture of his room later once I get a picture.
Most of the house is a mesa tumbleweed/light tan brown. This is a picture from the dining room looking into the living room.
This is Tessa's room and it is a light sage valley fog. Her room won't have anything stamped on the walls. I am just going to use decor.

Life in the Mitchell House

Well, life is going pretty good here, busy but good. We are starting to slow down a little bit on the house. The drywallers finally got all the sheetrock hung and it got inspected today so tomorrow the drywallers will be back to start taping, mudding and texturing. Yeah!! We can not wait for this job to be finish entirely so that we can move in and start to relax.
Yesterday was my birthday. I turned 26 and really enjoyed the day. It started out with Chad making breakfast and then headed out to the new house to pick things up and fix a hole in the plywood floor boards. Then we all came home and started getting ready for church and then we headed to Pocatello were we met up with my family for a birthday dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Thanks everyone for all the great gifts and a great time at dinner. It was really great to see you all and especially you Kevin, and thanks for Paxtons new dump truck, he really loves it.

It has been six years today since Uncle Casey passed. We miss him very much. Its still hard to be with out him. Some day we hope to be with him again. I will never forget Casey's love for life big smile and hart warming laugh.

Tessa's walking

Well Tessa has started to walk more on her own. She can take about 15 steps when she wants to before falling down. I think she could walk all the time if she really wanted to. There are times during the day I will look up and see her stand up in the middle of the room and start to take off walking. She is the type of girl that she will do it when she wants to and only when she wants to. I will post video of it soon once Chad gets home from Chicago.
Chad left yesterday for Chicago so he and another own of the business Rick could go look at a press break to purchase for the company. Chad will be back home tonight around midnight. I am surviving as best as I can without my better half with me to help with the kids and for comfort during the night. It will be a great relief once he is home.

Fun at the Fair

Well it has been that time of year already for Blackfoot, thats right the fair. The fair started last saturday and we kicked it off by going to the one and only parade here in Blackfoot with my mom, sister and her kids, and my dad and Teresa. We all went to the fair afterwards and enjoyed some really delicious food and some great fun. Mom put some of her pictures in the fair this year but since there is always some many people entering that she did not accuire any ribbons, but it was still fun to go and she her pictures hanging there.
Chad and I went back to the fair on Tuesday evening with Chad and Angela, and Josh and Amanda and their kids. It was really a great evening since Chad and Angela had never been before. Amanda also put in some professional pictures this year and has been able to get her name out there for any one who is looking to get their pictures taken. Amanda is the one who has taken the kids pictures this year and I will be sending some to everyone just as soon as they come in. Happy Birthday

Paxton turned 3 years old on the 22nd. It was a great time with family. Everyone came to celebrate, have dinner and of course birthday cake. This year I decided to I was going to make Paxton's birthday cake. We had gotten him a Tonka bike and so I decided to make his cake with tonka toy cars. I think it turned out pretty cute and it tasted delicious also. Paxton got a lot of cool gifts this year. Grandma gave him some books, coloring books and also some digging toys for outside. Grandpa and Teresa gave him a couple of bigger kid games, he got a wheelbarrow and shovel from Grammy and papa, and also a bike helmet from his Auntie Kris and cousins. Thanks everyone for coming and having a great time with us.
Chad and I celebrated our 4th anniversary yesterday. We did not really get a chance to do anything yesterday because it was a Wednesday and we had church, so we will be going out to dinner on Friday to celebrate. It is hard to believe that it has only been 4 years since we said 'I Do' but it seems like forever to me since we already have two kids.

Camp Fire School

I thought it would be good that Paxton know how to build a fire so this is fire starting 101.
First you find a bunch of really dry wood and break it up in really small pieces and make sure there is plenty of dry needles.
Grab a match and Light it then stand WAY WAY Back
Yep thats how you do it. Hope Paxton doesn't practice at home ha ha. We had a great time spending time around the camp fire in my opinion its the best part of camping just sitting around the fire not thinking of all the cares back home and really relaxing. It was good to get away Hope all of you are doing well

No New Happenings

Well the house is coming along. I know that it has been a while since I last posted. Sorry. Life here at the Mitchell house hold has not really changed much. Chads birthday was on Sunday and Paxtons will be in two weeks from Friday. Chad and I will also be celebrating our 4th anniversary on the 27th. Chad and I have purchased a fifth wheel trailer and are planning a camping trip for next week. I am really looking forward to it because I think we all need some time away. Chad has been working long hours up in Rexburg for the past month and a half and today was his last day up there. Yea!!!
Like I said the new house is really coming along. It is completely framed in and the well has been drilled. Today I went out and met the cabinet maker to see how much cabinetry I wanted in the kitchen and also so the plumbers could finish doing their part. Sorry I don't have any new pictures. I will try and get some posted a little later.

Tessa 9 months

We had Tessa's 9 month doctors appointment on Tuesday. She weighs 18 lbs 4 oz and is 26 1/2 inches long. She has really learned a lot lately. She is now trying to feed herself finger foods, crawling every where, pulling up on everything and even getting brave enough to let go and stand by herself for a few minutes. I was so glad when I was told that she did not need any shots this time because she is all caught up with them.
We have all been staying pretty busy with Chad working long hours in Rexburg and trying to keep up with the current and new homes.
Our current home has been on the market for about three weeks now and we finally have had two showings this week. No news yet on if any of them have decided to make an offer or not but at least it is a step in the right direction.

Inner walls and Trusses

The house is really coming along. The guys have gotten most of the inner walls done and all of the trusses put up today. The more that gets done the more I get excited. I took some pictures yesterday of the inner walls and some today of the outside. Hope you all enjoy.

The house is coming along great. The guys framing the house are friends of ours and they are working hard.

Sorry that it has been so long since the last update. Not much has been going on at the new house. The excavator got all of the backfill done and the concrete guys just finished the basement floors today. Yea!!! Our framers will be starting tomorrow at 6:30am and I think will work until about 5pm but I am not sure on that. Sorry I don't have any new pictures but as the framing starts to go up I will be sure to post them.
Tessa is really growing like a weed. She has started to crawl, walk by holding my fingers, feed her self, pull her self to standing. Boy, I really can't tell you all how big she is starting to get. We go to the doctor next week. I weighed Tessa at a friends house the other day and she weighed 19.2 lbs.
Paxton is just loving life and loves to be with his sister. He is just as excited as Chad and I are to be building a new house. He tells everyone that he knows that he is building a house.

The walls

Yesterday the concrete people put in the forms for the walls and filled them with concrete. It is pretty neat how they do it. They use a big pump truck that is in the pictures to fill the forms, so it only takes them one day to make the walls. Today they were going to remove the forms and then will be back next week to pour the floors. Our plumber will be out probable tomorrow to put in the plumbing that needs done before the floors are poured and the excavator will be out also to do all of the back fill. 1st horse experience

Tessa had her first experience with the horses yesterday. We had walked out to where Tom is building an arena and the horses walked over to it and came up to the fence. Chad walked over to them and Tessa just wanted to grab them. Most of the horses didn't want to come near her because they did not know what she was. Here is a picture of Tessa with Jack. Chad's parents have a horse that has loved kids from the day it was born so I told Chad that he would probably let Tessa touch it . Here are a couple of pictures of Tessa and Salty.

The Big Hole

On Thursday the excavator started digging our foundation. Chad and I are really excited that it is finally becoming a reality. It was really neat being able to take Paxton out there to be able to see excavator and see where our new house will be. Paxton really likes seeing things like that. Monday the concrete person will pour our footers and the will be back out in a couple of days to pour the walls. Hope everyone is doing well.

Coming Along

Well as of Tuesday we received our building permit in the mail. Chad and our excavator put in the two culverts for our new drive way. Chad has also been trying to find a new concrete guy to be able to do our foundation sooner than three weeks. We have found two new hopefuls who have told him that they could start as soon as this Monday. We are really excited that things are really starting to move along. Hope all is well with everyone and we will keep you all posted as things happen. Here are a few pictures of the culvert going in.

8 months old

Tessa turned 8 months old today. She is getting really big. She has learned to roll from her back to her stomach last Thursday. Tessa has cut her second tooth on the bottom. I am not sure how much she weighs but if I was to guess I would say about 18 lbs. She is really wanting to be mobile. I have been working with her to crawl, when I put her on her hands and knees she will rock back and forth but if she tries to move her feet slip out from behind her and she land on her stomach. Since I have been working with her she tends to like her stomach more now than she did before. Hope everyone had a wonderful fathers day.

New Tooth

Tessa cut her fist tooth on Saturday. Yeah!!! We only have 19 more teeth to go. Tessa is 7 1/2 months old. She is really getting big. I have been working with her on crawling. I am able to put her up on her hands and knees and she will hold her self up for a few minutes. Since I have started doing this she like her stomach a little better.
On Saturday we went fishing up wolverine canyon with Chad's family. It was really windy and cold and Paxton lasted about ten minutes for fishing then wanted to go back to the cars and play. For only being 2 1/2 years old, I have to say that he did pretty good.

I hope that you all will enjoy this little clip of Tessa laughing. It is so cute and such a joy to hear her laughing. Paxton started chasing Sadie around the living room and Tessa just thought that it was really funny. It never seems to fail though, once I bring out the camera Paxton stops what he is doing which then happens to lead to Tessa stopping. Yes the really high pitched screaming is from Paxton and not Tessa. Sorry if it hurts your ears I know that it hurt mine.

Chad and I found out this morning that we get to close on our construction loan today at 3pm. Yeah!!! We already have the concreat people telling us that they can start as soon as the second week in June. So once we get started you will be seeing a lot of pictures of the progress. I can not tell you all how excited we both are. With all of the stuff that Chad and I have and all of the stuff that the kids have we can no longer fit into this current house. We have been putting in a lot of work with the current home to be able to put it on the market to be able to sale and get bills paid off so that the only bill we have when we move in is the house payment. I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend.

Summer Weather

The weather here in Blackfoot this weekend has been hot. Yesterday it was mid 80's so my mom and I took the kids to Walmart to get a new kiddie pool while Chad took a dumptruck load of yard cleanup to the dump for free dump day. I really did not think that Tessa would like the pool all that much but she really loved it. Today our weather is in the high 80's with a light breeze. So all in all it has been a really great weekend.

Aunt Debbie thanks for the clothes they are really adorable. And Grandma thanks for the new hair bow. Everyone loved it today.

Happy Mothers Day

I hope that you all had a Happy Mothers Day. My day was great. We all were up by 8am. Chad went to Walmart to get a few things and by the time he got home the rest of us were dressed and ready for our day. Chad came in with roses for me from Paxton, Tessa and him, then came bike trailer from Chad, and then Paxton took me outside and showed me the bike that he got me. To say the least I got spoiled this year. Once everything was set up I took Paxton and Tessa on a ride around the block. Let me tell you what a work out you get by pulling two kids along behind you.

Saturday was a great day also. My mom came up to watch the kids for us so that Chad and I could go to Lowes and get wood for the new deck. We came back and all of us went outside to help Daddy build the new deck. We got part of it done and then we took my mom to PBG's, a resturant here in Blackfoot, for mothers day. We did the rest of the deck except the railing on Sunday morning.

Sibling Love

Tessa has learned to sit up on her own pretty well now all though she still tends to fall over a bit. In the past week any time that I sit Tessa on the floor to play with a toy, Paxton comes and sits right beside her with his own toy. I think that it is so cute how Paxton and Tessa interact with each other that I just had to post a picture. I think that they are really going to be great buds as time goes on.

Tessa really loves to have Paxton beside her. She has already started in on if Paxton has something in church then she tries to take it from him. It is so funny just to hear Paxton laugh. They are so cute with each other, but of coures that is because I am the mommy.

Tessa has also started to really babble. Her new words (sounds) are dada and nana. She is starting to get so big and is just really a sweet little baby.

Park Time

Paxton, Tessa, and I had a really great time at the park this afternoon. We went and got lunch from Arbys and meet Sari, Harlee and Trayton at the park for some fun. It was really great for me to be able to get some adult conversation, since all that I have during the day is a 2 year old until Chad comes home from work. Paxton was so excited when I asked if he wanted to go to the park with Harlee. He couldn't wait. The weather was pretty nice, not to much of a breeze. It was a little cool but the kids didn't mind. Even Tessa enjoyed being outside. I even got a slight sun burn on my face.

The bathroom tile is in and done. It really looks great. Chad and I are so glad that we had some one come and install it for us. It only took the installers two days to install and it would have take Chad and I a lot longer than that. We like the tile job so much that we are really thinking about having the same guy come and tile the new house for us. The installer also told me that he can get us a really good deal from wall to wall carpet for all of our flooring needs and he would do the installation. Well any ways here are a couple of pictures of the new tile.

A Fun Weekend

It has been a great weekend. Chad and I met with a Loan Officer and are getting our home construction loan under way so that we can start building our home. We also got a surprise visit from Aunt Angi and Grandma Bonnie, unfortunately Aunt Angi has to fly back home today. It was really great to see you Angi and we are looking forward to seeing you in June.

Saturday was a great day as well since my mom and I went got our hair cut with out the kids. It was very relaxing and enjoyable and I really love my new hair cut.

Chad and I are also working on getting the bathroom in our current home finished along with a few other things so that we can put our house on the market. Some of our tile has not come in yet so my installer called and told me that they would be here tomorrow morning. It will make the bathroom look newer than what it really is.

6 Months Old

Tessa is now 6 months old and yesterday we had her 6 months doctors appointment. Poor little thing had to get 4 shots. She is now 15lbs 5oz and is 25 inches long. She was not a very happy little girl yesterday evening but she seems to be doing a little better today. I forgot to let you all know that last week Chad also had to go to Boise Wednesday night to do a job for a company over there so Paxton spent the night with grammy and papa Tom. Chad came back home Thursday and Paxton was really excided to see him and the started to look for me and got a little upset that I was not with daddy. Since I didn't get home until Friday evening and Chad had to work, Sari, a really good friend of ours, watched paxton for us. He had tons of fun with Sari's daughter Harlee who is 3 years old. Sorry I still don't have any pictures from Boise yet but I will get them posted as soon as I get some.

Boise Trip

Hey everyone I know that it has been a few days since my last post. Tessa and I took a trip over to Boise with my mom and sister for a short get away. My mom and I went over on Wednesday and picked up my Aunt Debbie Thursday morning. My sister came over with her daughter Brooklyn on Thursday. It was a great time. We did lost of shopping and got some really great deals. Kris and I came back home Friday late after noon with the babies and my mom stayed with my Aunt until Sunday evening.
Sorry I don't have any pictures yet, but as soon as my mom is able to send me some I will get the posted for you all to see. I hope that this finds all of you doing really well.

Fun Times

On Sunday Chad and Paxton were outside working on the yard getting all the dirt put into the flower beds. Chad was shoveling the dirt into a wheelbarrow to move it and Paxton was out picking up the dirt with his hands like any boy would be. Well Chad found him a garden spade. When Paxton saw the little shovel his eyes just lite right up and was so excided that daddy had a shove just his size. Words can not explain the thrill that Paxton gets from being with his daddy and felling like he gets to help. Paxton just really adores his daddy. It is just amazing to be able to see the world through kids eyes. Well as for Tessa and myself life is going great. She is trully a mommies girl. I love seeing her change and grow every day.

Last night we went over to Matt and Christine's,some friend of ours, house for dinner and games. It was tons of fun for all of us. Chad learned how to play the game Clue and we also played sorry revenge. Paxton had lots of fun being some where other than home and really loved the piano. Christine was teaching Paxton how to play a song so we took a few pictures.

Chore Time!

Since Chads parents are gone on a trip to Isrial we are taking care of their animals for them. Paxton is having a blast and is enjoying being daddys little helper. To take care of the animals we have to feed and water the horses, feed the cats (yes cats), and feed their dog Pepper. It takes a little while but we get it done.

Paxton really enjoys riding in the wheel barrel and he always comes running to the truck at the end saying 'helper mommy helper'.

Oh yes, and Paxton found a feather from a pheasant.

So someone has finally discovered her feet. Yeah Tessa. She is getting so big. Tessa is 5 1/2 months old now and is getting bigger every day. Its hard to believe that it has been 5 months since she was born. We all enjoy and lover her so much. Paxton really loves her and can't hardly leave her alone. Well it has been a while since the last entry, but things have been going realy well here. Saturday was the annual easter egg hunt here in Blackfoot so my mom came up and we took Paxton to it. He had a great time. Paxton also scored alot from everyone on Easter gifts. The picture shows all the stuff from Grandma, Papa and Grammy, and Aunt Angi and Uncle Tim. The second picture is of what he got from Chad and I. We hope that all of you had a great Easter and sorry I dont have a picture of the kids in their Easter outfits due to Tessa having an accident during church.

Haircut

So if any of you remember what Paxton looked like at the age of one then you know that his cut had changed at the age of two. Well it has changed again. No more mop on top. I decided I was tired of it looking like a mess so I cut it down to an 1" on top and 1/2" on the sides. Here are some pictures of the progression.

My Little Helper

Well nothing new going on here. I do have to say that I like being a mother to two wonderful kids. Paxton really likes to help me out in everything that I do. Last night I was busy cooking and Chad has been sick so I asked Paxton if he could hold Tessa's bottle and help me feed her so that I could finish dinner. It was really cute. He is the best little helper ever.

Jumping Jacks

Last night Chad was sitting on the floor streching after playing raqucet ball with some friends. Paxton was watching him and decided to join in. It was pretty cute. I thought it would be a great time for Chad to show Paxton how to do jumping jacks. I took some video of it.

Chad also decided on Sunday that he wanted a haircut and buzzed his head. I dont really care for it but it is his hair. He really wanted me to take a picture and post it for everyone. I also bought Tessa a new dress on Saturday and had to take a picture because she is so cute. Hope everyone is doing well Tessa seems to be doing much better now.

Little Sicky

I know that it has been a few days since my last entry. Tessa has been sick since Thursday last week. Yesterday she wasn't doing very well so Chad and I decided it would be a good idea to get her checked. I took her to Blackfoot Medical Center and they are now treating her for RSV. The doctor perscribed her with a home nebulizer and albuteral. She is doing better but is still not a 100%. The doctor told me that I can expect her to be sick for about another week since her fever came on last evening. Paxton seems to be doing really well and I can only hope that he does not get sick and well.( Nor do I). Hope this all finds the rest of you doing well. Please keep us in your prayers.

Cousin Time

I know that it has been a few days since my last entry but not much has changed here. We went down to Pocatello yesterday and spent the day with my sister Kris and her three kids, and also with my mom. We had loads of fun. We took the kids to a cool play place called The Outer Limits. It has tons of stuff to do like a great playland, arcade games, and also laser tag. The boys really enjoy it and get to use up their energy, while the adults get time to chat. Paxton just loves being able to spend time with his cousin.

Grandma's House

On Saturday Chad and I went to Pocatello. Chad was meeting up with some friends to take them to learn how to shoot. Paxton, Tessa, and I went over to my moms house to play and go shopping. My mom has a set of tinker toys and so Paxton and I were building stuff out of them. This picture is of something that I created out of it for Paxton. Paxton went and got her dogs ball and started putting in the hoop. We also went shopping at a second hand childs store down in Pocatello and I go him this really cool cash registure. He had so much fun that day.

Four Months Old

Well today we went to the doctors for Tessa's four month appointment. Poor little thing had to get five different shots. Come to find out they no longer give them a combo shot. I am glad to say that she is growing like a weed. She now weighs 12lbs 13oz, is 23 inches long. She is doing really great. She seems to all ways be hungry so we started the rice cereal in the evenings just a couple of days ago and she is loving it. Paxton is also doing greart and is loving being a big brother.

Sledding Fun

We had tons of fun Saturday with a group of friends sledding in Idaho Falls. It was Paxtons first time and he loved it. My mom came with us to be able to watch Tessa for me because it was to cold outside for her. Thanks mom. We are hoping that we get some more snow here in Blackfoot because there is a really great sledding hill here also, but unfortanently it wasn't very good snow here over the weekend. We hope that if we get some more snow we will be able to take Paxton back out.

Happy Valentines Day

Chad and I are going to be dropping the kids off with my mom so that we can go down to Lava Hot Springs and sit in the hot pools. Mom is due for some adult time not that I don't love my two wonderful kids dearly. This morning I gave Paxton and Tessa thier Valentine pets. We got one for Paxton last year so I thought it would be a nice tradition to get the a valentines pet every year. I hope that you all have a great Valentine's Day.

What Fun

On Friday Paxton was wanting to go out side and play really bad. I told Paxton that he had to wait until daddy got home to be able to go out and play. He was so excited when daddy got home. They went out side and played for about 30 minutes while I made dinner. They had so much fun. Daddy was teaching Paxton how to throw a stick and make it stand up in the snow.

Tessa loves to sit up and look around so much but is not able to do so on her own so on saturday we went up to Idaho Falls to go to Wal-mart and purchased a Bumbo chair. She really loves sitting in it.

We have been getting tons of snow and wind here. It has been snowing off and on here ever since December. This picture is of a car that is parked across the street from my house and has not moved ever since it snowed. It has been really cold and wind here also so Paxton hasn't been able to go out and play in the snow to much this year. I am hoping that in the next couple of weekend we will be able to take Paxton sleding with a few of our friends. We are enjoying the weather as much as we can because we need the moister.

Hi this is my first time doing a blog. I am always reading my sisters and just love it. I have been thinking a lot about doing one so that all the family can keep up on our lives. Last night Chad and Paxton were playing with their toy guns shooting bad guys and daddy made this cool fort for them to hide behind. Tessa is growing like a weed and will be four months on the 17th. Chad and I are doing good. We are just loving the life that we have together and enjoy our little family.
